Kansei isn’t your typical American disgusted at Bush’s Iraq war debacle, he is a new Japanese robot.

“Japan’s latest robot, called Kansei and created by a university research team, can pull up to 36 different facial expressions based on a program which creates word associations from a self-updating online database of 500,000 (English) keywords.

When the robot hears the word ‘president,’ the online database picks up associated words such as ‘Bush,’ ‘war’ and ‘Iraq’ and creates an expression which the researchers said is meant to mix fear and disgust.”

We should order millions of these robots and put them on the super-duper fast track to American citizenship, so they can vote in the 2008 presidential election.

There are still many intellectually-impaired Republicans who support Bush’s foreign policy, but I’m persuaded every single robot has the smarts to vote Democrat.

Xenophobes or robotphobes can’t argue that the androids aren’t qualified to be citizens, because they aren’t proficient in English. With a database of 500, 000 English keywords, these tin men could tutor George W. Bush.

I can envision the day when a Kansei robot will be president of the United States. Kansei robots have 36 different facial expressions, that’s 35 more than Vice President Dick Cheney who only knows how to frown.
