Remember, I am apolitical. I have no agenda. I used to be a Republican, but abandoned the party when it abandoned the conservative principles of no wasteful needless wars, and no wasteful spending.

I have never been a Democrat.

John McCain –

A vote for McCain is a vote for four more years of George Bush-style attack dog government. McCain never saw a war he didn’t love. He will continue the failed policies of his predecessor in trying to make the Middle East a compliant, dependant American colony. Any time he is criticized in a debate, he wraps himself in the flag and refers to his Vietnam War service and calls himself a “patriot.” He is the possessor of a tremendous ego, and believes destiny and bloodlines selected him for greatness. Talks tough and mean, despite his small stature.

Mitt Romney –

The ultimate corporate board room technocrat who inherited money and privilege from his famous father, but not his father’s sliver of idealism. Will say anything even if untrue, for example. “Weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq.” Looks presidential, good in a suit, but that’s all. Like most Republicans, never served in the military. Like all candidates, says we need change, but is a walking monument to no changeâ?¦.the status quo. Romney will continue to favor lobbyists, insurance and oil companies, just like all Republicans.

Mike Huckabee –

A crazy preacher who thinks he can become president. Always talks about how poor he was as a kid as if he thinks he can emulate Abraham Lincoln growing up in a log cabin. Has a sense of humor though. Can be likeable, but is trying to do a new spin on Mister Smith goes to Washington, only this time it’s Preacher Huckabee doesn’t go to Washington.

Rudy Giuliani –

Forget it Rudy!

Hillary Clinton –

The first truly first ex-First Lady to run for president on her husband’s coattails, and a political intriguer of the highest standard. Offers the difference of a woman’s values, families, social medicine and working mothers as opposed to male fondness for doomsday weapons, domination and military force. But she can act as nasty as any man when she needs to. Something about her promotes in the voter uneasiness, whether it’s the trail of scandal left by her husband, suspect real estate deals in Arkansas, or her fondness for not admitting mistakes. Claims she only voted for the Iraq War because the president lied to her. After gender is said and done, just another big government, New Deal Democrat in the old style.

Also, nobody likes a pushy woman.

Barack Obama –

Perhaps the most intelligent of the candidates, Obama is, like Clinton, trying to make history as the first black president. Nobody has the heart to tell him he can’t because America is still a racist country. Nevertheless, the fiction that he can become president needs to be maintained for political correctness, so the result is a candidacy that is a huge, ongoing allusion. Even if Obama could be taken and placed inside John Edward’s body, he would still be considered way too “liberal,” a dirty word today, even though it was liberals who instituted Social Security that all conservatives hypocritically enjoy and spend when they get old.

Obama as president would skew the country and rub old wounds raw especially in the South over race. If he somehow made it, he will cause four years of heightened racial tensions.

There is a remote chance he could somehow end up running for vice president.

John Edwards –

Looks good, sort of like John Kennedy, sounds good, but that’s all. No substance. No ringing, poetic, heroic words or visions like Kennedy. Consistently fails to arouse passion among voters. No sense of humor. Comes off like an Amway salesman or minor chamber of commerce official. Also, faces the tedium of being another white southerner with a southern accent in the White House.

Has a nice wife though.

The Rest — Involved in wishful thinking.

My Prediction for President –

John McCain and his pseudo John Wayne imitation appeals to Americans. He wins by a landslide.
