Hillary Luring Obama Supporters By Hinting Of Dream Ticket

“Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday again raised the possibility that she might run with rival Sen. Barack Obama on the same Democratic presidential ticket. Speaking to voters in Mississippi, where Sen. Barack Obama is expected to do well in next week’s primary, Clinton said, ‘I’ve had people say, ‘Well I wish I could vote for both of you. Well, that might be possible some day. But first I need your vote on Tuesday.’”Quotation from the Associated Press

There is nothing spontaneous about Hillary Clinton; every cackle and every word that spews from her mouth has been carefully parsed by her campaign.

In the last few days, in seemingly “off-the-cuff” remarks, Hillary has raised the possibility of a Clinton-Obama ticket. These are no ad libs, the shrew is making a play for voters who are leaning towards Obama. She is enticing them to vote for her by dangling the likelihood of a dream ticket.

I hope the electorate is not deceived, even if Hillary is serious and Obama is crazy enough to run with her — a Bill Clinton intern would wield more power than the senator from Illinois.

Obama needs to make it clear that he won’t consider running as Hillary’s running mate. Hillary has shown nothing but disdain for her opponent; under a Hillary administration Obama’s main job would be to dust the red phone every morning.

Obama should declare that he is only interested is being leader of the free world, and that he will never settle for being a peon in a Clinton-Clinton dynasty.

Why is Hillary even considering who will be her vice-president? Obama is leading in pledged delegates, overall delegates, popular vote and most states won. He is the one who should be dropping hints that he will never consider Hillary as his running mate.
