While walking the streets this morning I spotted a car with this logo emblazoned on the front door.

Instinctively, I cleaned my glasses and put them on again, just to make sure…and there it was: “Arab Pest Control” in big red letters.

According to their official website: “Arab (pronounced A’ rab) is a term derived, in this case, from the theme of the Arabian Nights. The label has a certain “romantic flair,” giving illusions of flying Persian carpets and other mysteries of the East. People have been intrigued by the name while at the same time realizing that it truly is a standard of excellence.”

Arab Pest Control is actually an authentic American company — diligently serving mid-western United States.

I am intrigued!

P/S — I am not Anti-Arab, but many of my neighbors are — I just wonder what their reactions are whenever they see this logo. Arab Americans and immigrants in general are having a hard time here in The United States — Being racially profiled is nothing new to me, therefore, for an “Ethnic American” to be brave enough to use “Arab” as the name of his company is in my opinion — very admirable. LOL!
