Bill Clinton is zo bitter over de overwinning van Barack Obama over zijn vrouw Hillary die hij vrienden heeft verteld de Democratische benoemde voor zijn hartgrondige steun zal moeten bedelen.

De woede van de vroegere voorzitter is nog zo groot dat zelfs de loyale bondgenoten door zijn patronising houding tegenover M. Obama, worden geschokt en geloven dat hij riskeert schadelijk zijn eigen reputatie door zijn onverzettelijkheid.

Clinton denkt dat ondanks opiniepeilingen die M. Obama met een gezond lood over Republikeinse John McCain tonen, M. Clinton niet denkt hij kan winnen.

De democratische partijstrateeg, die aan één van de vroege rivalen aan M. Obama en de vroegere Eerste Dame werd verenigd, zei M. Clinton „waszeer unhopeful“ over de vooruitzichten van de benoemde in November….[MEER >>]
