The Drudge Report published a photo (see below) snapped by a Reuters photographer that depicts a smiling Hillary Clinton — in the backdrop there’s an image of a horned devil.

A picture speaks a thousand words, and you don’t have to be a psychoanalyst to wax poetic about the meaning of this image.

When Hillary smiles I’m reminded of the Joker as played by Jack Nicholson. The Joker’s smile was crudely painted on his face; Hillary’s smile does not match the coldness in her eyes, it might as well be painted on.

Hillary’s laugh (cackle) is as disturbing as her smile. Hillary doesn’t laugh because she’s happy or finds something amusing; she cackles when she is ridiculing her opponent. There is something wrong about someone who has publicly declared that she finds negative campaigning to be fun.

If you see the devil with horns and a tail coming your way, you won’t need anyone to warn you to run away as quickly as possible. If you see Hillary with her painted-on smile, cackling like a crazed woman — run straight to the polls and vote for Barack Obama.

I am a liberal, not a member of the vast right-wing conspiracy, and Reuters has often been accused of having a liberal bias. When the left feels comfortable ridiculing Hillary Clinton, that’s a sure sign that she doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the Democratic nomination.
