“Republican presidential front-runner John McCain suggested on Friday that he hoped retired Cuban leader Fidel Castro would die soon and said Castro’s brother will be a worse leader.
‘I hope he has the opportunity to meet Karl Marx very soon,’ McCain told a town-hall style meeting of about 150 people, referring to communist theoretician Marx who died on March 14, 1883.”
Quotation from Reuters
Sen. John McCain, 71, is in frail health, five years as a POW rendered him a cripple. He has a notoriously short temper; he drops the F-bomb more often than a rapper. The Grim Reaper follows McCain at every campaign event, he should be the last person in the world to wish anyone dead.

Maybe old age coupled with his torture at the hands of the North Vietnamese has also left McCain mentally impaired. If McCain believes that Castro’s brother will be a worse leader, then why is he hoping that Castro will die soon?
If Hugo Chavez publicly wished that George W. Bush would die soon, pundits and politicians would be up in arms. No presidential candidate should be hoping that a revered leader of another nation die.
McCain’s reprehensible comment is proof that he is temperamentally unfit to be the President of the United States.
I call on conservatives and liberals to denounce McCain’s wicked statement.
