The Kenyan Post-Election Fight Down To ‘Bows & Poisoned Arrows’

The Kikuyu, the ethnic group of Kenya’s ‘president,’ Mwai Kibaki have mobilized themselves to avenge attacks suffered at the hands of other ethnic groups.

Where did this hatred come from?

In British colonial Kenya (1920-1963) tens of thousands of ‘white illegal-immigrants‘ settled into prime land, dubbed ‘The White Highlands,’ in the central uplands of Kenya, including quite a chunk of the Rift Valley. These illegal settlers got 999 year leases over about 25% of the best land in Kenya.

A grandson of one of these illegal settlers, Tom Cholmondeley still occupies one of the biggest chunks of land belonging to the Maasai ethnic group — and recently shot Mr. Robert Njoya, (a 33-year-old Kenyan citizen) to death for allegedly killing an antelope at his Soysambu Ranch in Gilgil division of Nakuru District.

He beat the rap through pressure exerted by the British government on a Kibaki government full of ‘Negrophobic Thieves‘ with huge bank accounts and vast properties stashed in countries of the British Commonwealth — stolen from the Kenyan people over the years.

The original occupants of the land were predominantly from the Kikuyu, the Embu and Meru ethnic group — collectively known as GEMA. This lead to the ‘Mau Mau uprising,’ which lasted from lasted from 1952 to 1960.

Essentially the GEMA people were fighting for their land — a fight which later intertwined with the fight for the independence of Kenya.

This insurgent uprising failed militarily, though it ‘being in the right place at the right time‘ may have accelerated the independence of Kenya.

When Kenya got independent in 1963, the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta embarked on land distribution scheme aimed at personally enriching himself, his cronies and resettling his Kikuyu ethnic group into not only land stolen from them, but also on land belonging to the pastoralist Maasai ethnic group.

Kenyatta stole land big-time, for himself and his tribe — even encroaching the Kalenjin territories in the Rift Valley.

And that’s the root cause of the problems in Nakuru and surrounding areas, and Mwai Kibaki’s theft of the December elections has poured gasoline into a long-standing ‘Land Dispute.’

We are witnessing the fruits of years (since independence in 1963) of mis-management, theft and blatant tribalism by the thieving regime of Kenyatta followed by that of Moi (a Kalenjin and Kenyatta protege), and now by Kibaki, a Kikuyu like Kenyatta — the ‘head’ of a tribal entity who have vowed never to relinquish the presidency of Kenya again!

Ultimately Kenyans have to solve their problems themselves, but as long as Britain and it’s imperial Commonwealth umbrella continues to shield these post-independence thieves by hiding their loot safely in England, Australia, Canada, Wales etc., they will continue to instigate ethnic clashes.

Throw in the neo-imperialist governmnment of George Bush, which has been using Kibaki to fight ‘Alkaida’ a.k.a the 10% Muslim population of Kenya — and you have an even more complicated equation.
