Yesterday in Calgary, Alberta, criminal Bush gave his first speech as ex-president. Calgary is the home of Canada’s oil and gas industry and the power base of the country’s Conservative Party (THE THUGS UP NORTH). Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a local member of Parliament.

The press was not invited.

Mr. Bush spoke out against trade protectionism in the United States. Said Bush: “Wall Street got drunk, and we got the hangover.” Mr. Bush said he hoped that President Obama would succeed, adding, “He deserves my silence, and if he wants my help he is welcome to call me.”

Spoken like a true THUG from the SOUTH — After unleashing CO-CRIMINAL Dick Cheney on Sunday to throw faeces at Obama, in preparation for his lame speech on Tuesday. Hypocritical GOON!

His luncheon speech at Calgary’s Telus Convention Centre attracted about 1,500 invited guests – who were met upon their arrival by between 200 and 300 protesters, according to the Edmonton Sun.

One protester was reportedly arrested after calling the former president a war criminal, signaling his intent to make a citizen’s arrest and trying to enter the building.

AFP reports that protesters amassed shoes from across the country to throw at an effigy of Mr. Bush outside the convention center. Colette Lemieux of the Canadian Peace Alliance said, “It doesn’t matter that he is no longer president – a bank robber who stops holding up banks can and must still be prosecuted for his crimes.
