Now, we applaud the Fox News host’s determination to keep pornography away from children, however it’s puzzling why O’Reilly and his producers felt the need to show clips of porn from YouTube during his discussion of the dangers it poses. On October 13th 2004 Bill O’Reilly was sued by a female Fox co-worker claiming that he had subjected her to repeated instances of sexual harassment and spoke often, and explicitly, to her about phone sex, vibrators, threesomes, masturbation, the loss of his virginity, and sexual fantasies.

Andrea Mackris’s complaint, quoted O’Reilly, then 55, on all sorts of lewd matters. Mackris, then 33, recorded some of O’Reilly’s more steamy soliloquies. For example, his Caribbean shower fantasies.

Other interesting sections of the complaint included: A Thailand sex show, Al Franken, and the climax of one August 2004 phone conversation.

Bill O’Reilly settled the harassment lawsuit by paying the woman a large sum of money. The settlement agreement kept the woman’s mouth shut.

The New York Daily News, citing unidentified sources, reported that O’Reilly had agreed to pay Mackris anywhere from $2 million to $10 million. Separately, the New York Post said it was believed that O’Reilly paid “multimillions of dollars” to settle the suit. Since then, O’Reilly has variously engaged in showing lewd videos on his program, like last night (see video below).
