A Learning Moment For Obama; Decision 2009 Bodes ill For Democrats

Off-year elections can be notoriously unreliable as predictors of the future, but as a window on how the political landscape might have changed in the year since President Obama won the White House, Tuesday’s Republican victories in Virginia and New Jersey delivered clear warnings for the Democrats.

Democrats lost the two Gubernatorial races because of a few clear reasons:

1.   The Democratic base is not as energized as the ReTHUGliLOON Tea-Bagging base. Some Democrats just didn’t bother to vote.

2.   The economic climate is very bad and the citizenry — especially, the least educated, who are often times led like sheep — voted with their stomachs and not their brains.

3.   The governor (now former) of New Jersey is a tool of wall-street. In the present climate of WALL-STREET BAIL-OUTS and joblessness, one cannot blame an angry voter for throwing out an incumbent.

4.   In Virginia, the Dems fielded a weak and in-articulate candidate, who chose to distance himself from president Obama, and lost by a landslide. Gov. Corzine of New Jersey, despite being much more unpopular, embraced Obama and lost “with some respect.

Whatever the reasons, president Obama needs to pull-up his socks and deliver on the promises that got him elected. I am a supporter, and I am disillusioned too — Obama is dragging his feet instead of doing what he is supposed to do: BITCH SLAPPING and stepping over the diseased RACIST REPUBLICAN GOON MACHINE — who by now he should know, WILL NEVER SUPPORT HIM, and are all out to TOPPLE HIS GOVERNMENT.
