HuffingtonPost: After months of debate, the House of Representatives passed historic health care reform legislation late on Saturday evening. The 220-215 vote (click here to see how each member voted) cleared the way for the Senate to begin a long-delayed debate on the issue that has come to overshadow all others in Congress.

A triumphant Speaker Nancy Pelosi likened the legislation to the passage of Social Security (Opposed By Republicans) in 1935 and Medicare 30 years (Also Opposed By Republicans) later. “Oh, what a night!” she proclaimed at the beginning of a press conference held after the vote. Obama issued a statement saying, “I look forward to signing it into law by the end of the year.”

“It provides coverage for 96 percent of Americans. It offers everyone, regardless of health or income, the peace of mind that comes from knowing they will have access to affordable health care when they need it,” said Rep. John Dingell, the 83-year-old Michigan lawmaker who has introduced national health insurance in every Congress since succeeding his father in 1955. Dick Morris, the discredited Pervert and LIAR, and former Clinton adviser, who spilled state secrets to prostitutes while strategizing for Clinton — has characterized the now passed Health Reform Bill as follows: “As the suicidal Democratic congressmen proceed to rubber-stamp the Obama healthcare reform despite the drubbing their party took in the ‘09 elections, the president trotted out the endorsements of the AMA and the AARP to stimulate support. Dick Morris has Zero credibility. Any compromises by president Obama are necessary because of “Road-Blocks” placed by Republicans and their big-business backers. What is a president to do when faced with the hostilities of street mobs, hysterical Republican congressmen, LIARS like Dick Morris, and the troglodytes at Fox News, whose sole aim is to distract and confuse the public, and to incite armed Christian racists?

Faced with unprecedented obstacles, Obama has no choice but to cut deals for the good of the majority.

As I mentioned in an earlier article, President Obama has been hit with SHIT from multiple directions. Vicious snakes with “complimentary interests” have been hammering the president relentlessly, notably big business who line the pockets of Senators and Congressmen, who in turn stoke the racist juices of their constituents, in order to hold on to power, mainly in the south.

What Dick Morris does not tell you when he overstates that the Democrats “got a drubbing in the ‘09 elections,” is that the Republicans in Virgina and New Jersey won by appearing moderate. “Tricky Dick” does not mention that there are deep divisions within the G.O.P., as evidenced in the New York District 23 congressional election, where a Democrat won a seat which has been occupied by Republicans for over 100 years. He also fails to mention that these were off-year elections which historically don’t mean much anyway (except when Democrats win, like in 2005). [ READ MORE ]
