The gospel according to Rumsfeld: Bush era comes back to haunt Obama
From TheGlobeAndMail.com: Yesterday, New York Times columnist Frank Rich pointed all eyes to the website of Gentleman’s Quarterly, which has posted a series of cover sheets to ultra-top-secret intelligence updates that former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld used to prepare daily for former president George W. Bush.
It turns out that the cover sheets routinely showed pictures of tanks and troops with exhortatory quotes from Scripture. On April 3, 2003, shortly after the Pentagon began circulating a false account of the “rescue” of Private Jessica Lynch as a distraction from setbacks in the war, the briefing was prefaced with a quote from the Book of Joshua.
