Romanticizing Bush’s LYNCHING Thuggery: Republicans Struggle To Re-Ignite FRAUDULENT Terror Exploitation Politics

Over the last 30 years, the United States has killed nearly 30 Muslims for every American lost. The real ratio is probably much higher, and a reasonable upper bound for Muslim fatalities (based mostly on higher estimates ofexcess deathsin Iraq due to the sanctions regime and the post-2003 occupation) is well over one million, equivalent to over 100 Muslim fatalities for every American lost.

Bush, Condi, Rumsfeld -- GitmoThe GOP, the Grand Old White People’s party, the party of “Real Americans,” and the “Masters” of scare-mongering, have lifted the “underwear bomber” incident and are running with it — George Bush style.

On his website, LIAR Dick FAT Morris fear-mongers: “Barack Obama does not seem to understand that these terrorists come here to use our laws and our system, not to protect us, not even to shelter themselves, but to destroy us.” “Abdulmutall should be interrogated by the military, without benefit of counsel. The evidence we obtain should not be admissible in a court of law nor used as the basis for his sentencing. But it must be used to ward off future threats and attacks…. [ READ MORE ]

FaceBook blogger, the IQUITAROD from ALASKA weighed in yesterday, calling President Obama’s approach “fatally flawed” on her Facebook page. “The real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor,” the Republican governor-turned-author writes. Among other things, she blasted the idea of giving Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab the rights of an ordinary defendant.

“It simply makes no sense to treat an al-Qaeda-trained operative willing to die in the course of massacring hundreds of people as a common criminal,” wrote Palin, citing reports that he stopped talking when read his Miranda rights. “Giving foreign-born, foreign-trained terrorists the right to remain silent does nothing to keep Americans safe from terrorist threats.

One thing I know for sure: America cannot afford to be led by an un-schooled, racist, fumbling and disgraceful opportunist-coward like Sarah Palin.

Palin talks about “…massacring hundreds of people…” — How about these casualties:

At least 849,845 people have been killed

in Afghanistan and Iraq since the U.S. and coalition attacks,

based on lowest credible estimates — mostly civilians!

Over the last 30 years, the United States has killed nearly 30 Muslims for every American lost. The real ratio is probably much higher, and a reasonable upper bound for Muslim fatalities (based mostly on higher estimates of “excess deaths” in Iraq due to the sanctions regime and the post-2003 occupation) is well over one million, equivalent to over 100 Muslim fatalities for every American lost.

This kind of wanton killing will drive ANYONE to seek revenge, and until the United States does something about the killing, looting and raping it has been subjecting the rest of the world to, for decades, “UNDERWEAR BOMBERS” will continue to try to kill Americans.

Thumping one’s chest like a thug, Bush style, will just worsen things.

Obama, under very difficult circumstances, has taken tiny baby steps — in the right direction.

MediaMatters: On Hannity, Karl Rove attacked President Obama for waiting four days before publicly commenting on Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s alleged attempt to set off a bomb on a Northwest Airlines flight, commenting, “I don’t understand why keeping the president off the stage and then not having him explain it for four days is supposed to reassure us.” But in 2001, when Rove himself was serving in the White House, President Bush was “off the stage” for six days before responding to Richard Reid’s attempt to detonate a shoe bomb on a trans-Atlantic flight.
