First and foremost, President Obama needs to stop trying to “please” Republicans, for they are out to “LYNCH” him — no matter what.
They have made it abundantly clear time and again that they want him to FAIL! The massive volume of hate Obama has been subjected to by Republicans since 2008 makes it clear that whatever Obama does will never appease them. Charming an Indian Cobra would be a much easier task!!
Obama was elected on the strength of his campaign promises — some which he has not kept — due to calculated attempts to “straddle the middle” — in the process abandoning and enraging his base.
While the Republicans have been mobilizing and organizing their base, president Obama and the Democrats have been doing the opposite.
It is sad to note that the Republican party, which has been wrong on almost every issue affecting ordinary Americans, has grabbed the populist mantle from the Democrats. Since the New Deal, Republicans have been wrong on Social Security, the war in Vietnam, the criminal war in Iraq, equal rights, civil liberties, church-state separation, consumer issues, public education, reproductive freedom, national health care, labor issues, gun policy, campaign-finance reform, the environment, tax fairness …and now HEALTHCARE.
Despite the huge advantage on issues, Democrats always somehow manage to lower their guard and become complacent.
Martha Coakley is a quintessential example of what is wrong with the Democratic Party — a party which often consists of detached, stiff, aloof, limp-dick men and women; frightened invertebrates — scared of evil Republican sociopaths.

Mr. President Obama — dump the Republicans, stop trying to please them — this includes all those THIEVING BANKERS you bailed out — who instead of helping you fix the Republican Mess dumbo Bush heaped on your doorstep, continue to gouge the people.
Slamming these thieves hard on the wall is the only way in which you will be able to attract Independents and the Democratic base back into believing in your policies. You also need to quickly slip in the health-reform bill (it can be fixed later), and then concentrate on the economy for the rest of 2010.
You must take a populist stance immediately, in line with your campaign promises, irrespective of what Republicans do. They want you to FAIL, anyway.
The constant chirping and race-baiting by Republicans must also be met with “VERBAL FORCE” — “TOE TO TOE“. Their constant lying and innuendo must be challenged and exposed.
Snakes do not reason, they BITE WITH VENOM!
Remember, a good chunk of American voters have the attention span of a Beagle — PROOF: They just elected a NUDIST REPUBLICAN!, and as Arianna Huffington correctly observes — this ReTHUGlican win could be a blessing in disguise — for you Mr. President and the party — if you actually use it to course correct before 2010.
Do the Right Thing(your campaign promises and JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!), not the “Calculated Political Thing!”
