‘Anchor Baby Terrorism’: Pew Analysis Refutes Republican 14th Amendment Claim

Buzzflash: The Psychotic Hysteria of Republicans and “Terrorist Babies.” The GOP Should be Gagged with Diapers: There are moments when large groups in a society become seized with mass hysteria, which is akin to sociological psychosis. Since the election of Barack Obama, we have seen this phenomena growing like a cancer across a segment of white working class America. The science fiction theories presented as fact and pure logic-defying nonsense have spread like a cancer among the FOX Fraudcasting, Tea Party and a large segment of the Republican Party. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Approximately 8% of children born in the U.S. in 2008 had at least one parent who was an illegal immigrant. That according to a study published by the nonpartisan pew research center. The study was based on census figures dating to march 2009, and it found that 7% of all people in the country younger than 18 years old were children of one or more illegal immigrants.

The study immediately prompted this from the director of a research group that advocates reduced immigration: “what the pew estimate underlines is that this is a big problem. It really is a subversion of national independence for people — who break into your country, then to demand that their kids become U.S. citizens.”

Except that the study does not reveal any such thing. It found that more than 80% of the illegal immigrants who gave birth in this country had been here for at least one year. More than half, more than 50% had been here five years or more, and yet you’ll recall Republican Senator Lindsey Graham blurting: “people come here to have babies. they come here to drop a child. We can’t just have people swimming across the river having children here. That’s chaos.”

The chaos is between your ears. Sir!
