Republican Hate-Baits: Sleazy tactics are being used against president Obama. The Republican leader in the U.S. Senate, Mitch McConnell, last Sunday played ball with the “birther” crowd, insinuating that Obama is not a Christian and was not born in the United States. McConnell encouraged that notion on Sunday, on NBC’s Meet The Press: When asked repeatedly why so many Republicans believe the President is a Muslim, he dodged the question. Pressed to answer the question — he refused to give a simple answer — that he believes the president is a Christian — effectively prolonging the propaganda and lies.
