Why Dick Cheney Should Suffer Severely For a Prolonged Period of Time, Then DROP DEAD!

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Dick Cheney once predicted: “We will be greeted as liberators in Iraq.” At CPAC last weekend, he made another prediction: “I think that Barack Obama is going to be a one-term president.” “Let me be very clear,” the STUPID hoosier, Vice President Dan Quayle blustered back in ‘94, “Bill Clinton will be a one-term president.” I predict that EVIL-KILLER Cheney, will be severely crippled or dead by the time Obama wins a second term! So, before they start planning for the Romney inaugural bash, conservatives might want to pause and reflect on the Reagan and Clinton examples. They were both written off as one-termers and lived to tell about it. And Obama is now halfway to doing the same.

Why? He is responsible for the deaths and maiming of a million plus innocent Iraqis, and thousands of loyal, young American soldiers — men and women who volunteered to serve, while slippery LIAR Cheney got five deferments. Richard Bruce Cheney did everything humanly possible — short of fleeing to Canada — to avoid military conscription: He applied for and received 5 student deferments, a number described as “incredible” by professor David Curry of the University of Missouri in St. Louis.

It’s not fair!

Last night, this despicable draft dodger was admitted into hospital complaining of chest pains. Just chest pains Only? What about the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi women and children dead — because of Cheney orchestrated a war based on a blatant lie?

Oh, …..he is resting comfortable in a hospital! Asshole!

How comfortable are the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis maimed by the Cheney/Bush 500 pound bombs and the truck bombs planted by al-Qaeda terrorists — because of the LIES of Cheney, Bush and Cohorts?

I am not a member of al-Qaeda, neither am I a terrorist of any kind. I am just as appalled as many millions of law abiding, peace-loving citizens of the world, and I am compelled to say ……”death to the SCUM called Cheney.

And, I have no regrets.

Iraq Deaths EstimatorPersons who supported and perpetrated the illegal and criminal occupation of Iraq should be made to look at each and every picture available of the war dead, in order for them to experience the gravity of the atrocities committed in Iraq due to the Bush/Cheney Invasion.

Most Americans live in “video-game” land and have never known the destruction of war. They are shielded and protected from the bloody truth — lied to and cajoled by criminal politicians — more interested in lining their pockets with war-profits!

The number of Iraqi dead is shocking and sobering. Some estimates go up to 1.4 million+ ….

It is at least 10 times greater than most estimates cited in the US media,….and this devastating human toll demands greater recognition. It eclipses the Rwandan genocide and Cheney, Bush, and cohorts are directly responsible — retired in the comfort of their million dollar mansions, oblivious of the lives and families they have destroyed.

9/11 Didn’t Happen — Republican LIARS will do anything including drink their own urine to discredit president Obama. Here is an example: A couple of weeks ago, on CNN today, GOP strategist and former Dick Cheney adviser Mary Matalin — defending her former boss, charged that President Bush had in fact “inherited a recession” and the September 11th attacks from President Clinton.

MATALIN: “I was there, we inherited a recession from President Clinton and we inherited the most tragic attack on our own soil in our nation’s history. And President Bush dealt with it and within a year of his presidency within a comparable time, unemployment was at 5 percent.” [ READ MORE ]

COLONIALIST ‘Dr.’ Monica Crowley falsely claims Bush, Cheney had “100 percent perfect track record” in preventing “Islamic terrorist attack” — On The O’Reilly Factor, Fox News contributor Monica Crowley asserted that “[a]fter 9-11, President Bush and Vice President Cheney had a 100 percent perfect track record in keeping the homeland safe from an Islamic terrorist attack.” In fact, while Crowley and other conservative media figures have recently downplayed the number of attacks on the United States under former President Bush, there were numerous post-9-11 terrorist attacks attempted and carried out during the Bush administration. Iraq War Crimes Indictment

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,

   Columnist – John Sammon
Columnist - John Sammon. Click to view larger picture.Naturally, the common people don’t want war. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship. …voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”

When war criminal Hermann Goering at the Nuremberg trial in 1946 said the above, he didn’t realize he was a prophet. This statement fits George Bush like a glove.

I want the United Nations to formally charge Bush and the United States with war crimes in Iraq. Below is a first draft copy of the proposed indictment.

Indictment
Iraq War

The United Nations Charges:
Count One

Introduction

The Defendant

   1.   The United States president is sworn to uphold the Constitution and represent the American people responsibly and to seek through its own creation, the United Nations, peaceful resolutions to crisis unless all other options have been exhausted.

The Conspiracy

   2.   From in or about 2001, through 2003, the defendants George Bush and Richard (Dick) Cheney knowingly, willfully and unlawfully concocted a scheme to convince the American people that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction as they put it, “such as the world had never seen,” and intended to use these weapons in an attack upon the United States, and that such an attack was imminent.

   3.   It was the object of the conspiracy to use war to replace the leader of Iraq, to do a regime change, because said leader was acting in a bellicose manner after previous American administrations had professed friendship, guaranteed the sovereignty of, equipped with military hardware, and encouraged said Iraq leader in military adventurism prompting him to believe he could invade Kuwait in 1990 without repercussion. Thus, the United States itself was a party to laying the groundwork for a miscalculation that led to war.

   4.   It was further a part of the conspiracy to use the attacks on the World Trade Center of 9-11, 2001 to create a climate of fear and hysteria by falsely connecting Iraq to the event, when it had in fact no involvement at all. Said defendants Bush and Cheney used 9-11 to gain public support for war against Iraq.

   5.   It was further a part of the conspiracy to end a United Nations weapons inspection process in Iraq when it became clear that no such weapons were being found, the defendants Bush and Cheney realizing that if the situation continued, the war would be harder to sell.

   6.   It was further a part of the conspiracy that Iraq possessed rich oil reserves that could be controlled by the installation of a new government and that said defendants Bush and Cheney knew this and that contracts to rebuild war damage could be farmed out to American companies such as Halliburton, thus allowing the United States to acquire by force Iraq’s economy.

   7.   It was further a part of the conspiracy that once war was underway, the defendants and their coconspirators maintained a campaign of lies and disinformation to keep Congress and the American people compliant. Too numerous to include all, two examples are: For two years the defendants sought unsuccessfully to prove that an Iraqi weather balloon van was a mobile chemical weapons lab. On another occasion, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell was given a prepared statement to read to the public, and angrily threw the paper down and said, “I’m not going to read this shit!” Powell, who eventually was asked to resign for being too honest, has since openly expressed regret for being a dupe in the plot. In addition, defendants Bush and Cheney fired military officers or advisors who expressed doubt about the operation or raised troubling questions.

   8.   It was further a part of the conspiracy in that once war was underway; the defendants conducted it in an incompetent manner. As an example, troops were sent into combat without flak vests, leading to further American casualties.

   9.   It was further a part of the conspiracy to gain revenge on an official who was sent to Africa to see if a country there had sold “yellow pancake,” an ingredient in weapons of mass destruction, to Iraq. A report by the official that found no such transaction had taken place led the defendants and coconspirators to leak the identity of the official’s wife, who was an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency.

10.   Congress is complicit as an accomplice in that they cowardly failed to do their job and raise tough questions and simply bought the falsehoods of the defendants, thereby becoming a rubber stamp.

End Result

   1.   The resulting war killed half a million people and destroyed Iraq resulting in widespread suffering and damage, far beyond the numbers of “evil people” the defendants said the war was being fought to bring to justice. Thousands of “innocents” were killed, whose only guilt was living in the wrong country, including women and children caught in the resulting cross fire. The war also resulted in the loss, perhaps for decades, of the United States being considered a humanitarian nation in the eyes of the world, despite the debate whether that designation was ever truly deserved.

   2.   The war and the power vacuum it left after the deposing of Iraq’s leader gave Al-Qaeda an opportunity to establish a base there to conduct operations. Al-Qaeda had not been in Iraq before this.

   3.   The war in Iraq resulted in the war in Afghanistan being largely ignored, which in turn led to deterioration in the situation in Afghanistan.

   4.   It is clear that the American government, and many of its people, want to shrug and forget the whole thing. This is an immoral position that operates under the supposition that because the United States is powerful and in control, it can do something wrong and simply walk away from it.

10 Things No President Can Change

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

   Columnist – John Sammon
Columnist - John Sammon. Click to view larger picture.Obama’s long expected decision to escalate the Afghanistan War is based on the dubious conclusion that if decisive military victory over the Taliban isn’t possible, some kind of honorable (for us) chastisement of them is, by holding more ground, as well as retraining a corrupt regime in Kabul to be more honest.

It demonstrates a sad fact.

Some change in the status quo in the way America is, is possible. But not much. Not enough.

Obama ran his candidacy on a call for change. His supporters voted for him in part based on that promise. He was elected on that premise.

Unlike the war-making, torture-mongering wire-tapping crooks Bush and Cheney, Obama is a decent and honorable man. He is attempting to change some things, health care for one. But the public should understand that no matter who holds the office, the United States is not truly of and by and for the people, but a conglomerate geo-political-military-industrial ruling elite whose first priority is to maintain monetary power and influence, material and energy wealth.

Obama, nor anyone else, will be able to change these:

  1.  The US will continue to make war on or meddle in the affairs of much smaller, Third World impoverished countries, because of political differences, or we want their natural resources, those who lack a navy, air force, shoes on their feet and refrigerators. We’ve been in Afghanistan eight years, and killed a number of them, but it’s not enough, enough revenge. We have to triumph over them, or at least appear to. No attempt will be made to reach a political settlement until enough people have died. Just from the standpoint of size and firepower, the US comes off looking like an imperialist bully, but its people many of them nonetheless for some reason have great pride that we are sometimes able to defeat these impoverished pygmy countries.

  2.  The US will just as assiduously avoid military attack on small countries that have a nuclear capability, like Iran and North Korea. Any country, even a small one, that could strike back and cause us great harm, we will treat with caution and seek a political solution.

  3.  The US will continue to back Israel to run wild in the Middle East pushing Palestinians out, treating them like dogs, sometimes murdering them, and building new settlements on formerly Palestinian land, which over decades is what led to the anti-American sentiment and 9-11. There’s a huge difference between defending Israel’s right to exist, and equipping them with sophisticated weapons so they can expand at the expense of others who have also lived in the area for centuries. There is a very powerful pro-Israel lobby on Capitol Hill and championed by the likes of Joe Lieberman that makes any objective discussion of the situation impossible.

Anyone, including Obama, who criticizes Israel, is immediately branded an anti-Semite. Americans never look in a mirror when it comes to understanding how a problem came to be. They believe they are always innocent, noble, incapable of error, and that bad evil countries picked on them for no reason at all.

  4.  The US government and the priorities of the country will continue to be influenced by corporate lobbyists whose loyalty is to their industry and profits and not the American people. Thus, ruthless, dishonest corporations of the kind that nearly destroyed the economy will continue to hold sway. Money talks.

  5.  America will continue to be domestically the most violent country in the history of the world, a nation of child abusers, rapists, serial and spree killers, drive-by back shooters and gangs. Media will express shock and ask “why?” at each new atrocity, and then run the usual nightly shit entertainment programming glorifying violence, beautiful Hollywood models and cool-dude guys with their perfectly arranged hair pointing hand guns in prime time, acting tough and yelling “freeze!” Right before a Viagra commercial.

This is a sick country with twisted values, and will remain so.

  6.  Americans, using religion and the military, will continue to believe they are better than other people. You never hear a Frenchman say God bless France, or a Honduran say God bless Honduras, like you hear “God bless America.” This fantasy supposes that the creator of all life, the God of all people, would select for special reverence a nation above all others with an artificial border created by European immigrants who purchased or out-rightly conquered it from its former owners, while also performing the extermination of its original native inhabitants.

  7.  Racism will continue.

  8.  So will sexism.

  9.  There will be no standard flat and fair tax for Americans, but a system that bleeds the middle class and rewards the few richest.

10.  The destruction caused by global warming will race ahead of any president’s attempt to deal with it, and any president who does, will face the anger of the people who will call him a traitor.
