Hannity: Palin smarter than Obama — When a viewer suggested that Fox News’ Sean Hannity only liked Sarah Palin for her looks, he responded that it was her intelligence he admired.
State of The Union: 85% of Republicans Disagreed With Obama’s Speech ….Which They Did NOT Listen To! FAT Dick Morris: “Obama Hates Fox News.” Racist AssholeRoger Ailes: “I’m not in politics, I’m in ratings. We’re winning”
The most biased and bigoted name in “Fixed News” — Fox, lived up to it’s reputation for slanted and thoroughly prejudiced coverage of Obama’s smothering of the Tea-bagging Republican congressional lawmakers, last Friday. For the record, they barely covered the BLACK TRAGEDY in Haiti too, instead some of them like Bill O’Reilly engaged in spewing covertly racist rhetoric.
Meanwhile, the walking heart-attack, FATRoger Ailes, the Fox CEO — duck walked to ABC’s “This Week” program, today, to defend his goofballs. Ailes defended the fraudulent Glenn Beck as “accurate.” [ SEE VIDEO BELOW ]
Roger Ailes — defending a neo-nazi lunatic who has repeatedly incited his sick Republican followers to ASSASSINATE THE PRESIDENT.
MediaMatters: During President Obama’s question and answer session with Republican members of Congress at the GOP House Issues Conference, Fox News Channel was the only cable news network to cut away and not show the exchange in its entirety. However, Fox News subsequently aired all of the “Republican response” press conference held by House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), and Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) after the question and answer session with Obama. [ READ MORE ]

“Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, will take her message to Fox News as a regular commentator.
‘I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News,” Palin said in a statement posted yesterday on the network’s website. “It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news.”
Palin will offer political commentary and analysis, Fox said. Under the multi-year deal, she also will host occasional episodes of Fox News ‘Real American Stories,” a series featuring inspirational stories about Americans.” — [ READ MORE ]
Sarah Palin and Fox News are a perfect fit; Palin is indistinguishable from the Fox News bevy of vacuous bimbo reporters and anchors.
Both parties will benefit, Fox will get a spike in the ratings, and Palin will get a national platform to promote herself.
Some pundits believe that Palin’s decision to sign a multi-year deal with Fox News means that she isn’t running for president in 2012. If a politician who has been hired by a network declares herself to be a candidate for political office, she is promptly relieved of her reporting duties.
Palin’s three year deal with Fox doesn’t preclude her from seeking higher office. A contract means nothing to Palin, she will quit her Fox News gig in a heartbeat to run for higher office if she believes she has a viable chance in 2012. Have we forgotten so quickly that Palin quit her job as governor of Alaska to cash in on her fame?
However, I don’t think Palin is going to run for president in 2012. Reading from a teleprompter is a hell of a lot easier than debating the eloquent and erudite Barack Obama.
At Fox News Palin is in her element, the former beauty queen and Brit Hume can take a tag-team approach to converting Tiger Woods to Christianity. Palin can co-host a couple of programs with Glenn Beck, and they can inspire the teabaggers to commit wanton acts of stupidity. Palin can appear on her pal Sean Hannity’s program, and stir up racial hatred against President Obama. Palin can even do a segment with Shepard Smith, and the prima donnas can discuss hair styling tips and the proper use of mascara and eyeliner. Palin and the other Fox News hotties can have a prime time mud wrestling special, which would blow CNN and MSNBC out of the water.
Sarah Palin has never been more than eye candy, and I plan on getting an eyeful of her at Fox News.
MediaMatters: The Right-wing Media Spin Cycle: Lie, Terrify, Win, Repeat — Media Matters for America has released a new video demonstrating how the conservative echo chamber operates in the age of President Obama. Conservative activists – aided by Fox News, a political organization disguised as a news network – use distortions, lies, and smear tactics to shape public opinion and influence national policy. Media Matters president Eric Burns recently explained on Countdown with Keith Olbermann: “I think that what we have all thought of as a conservative news organization has really morphed itself this year into a 24/7 political operation with a very specific goal. And that is to destroy this presidency, and destroy any sort of progressive policy agenda that the American people voted for in November.”
MediaMatters: Fox News has responded to White House criticisms of its network by claiming that while its “editorial” programs are filled with “vibrant opinion,” its news hours are straight and objective. However, Fox News’ purportedly straight news programs often echo its “editorial” programs and feature smears, falsehoods, doctored and deceptive editing, and GOP talking points.
