‘Whack Job’ Palin and ‘Fraudster’ McCain are in ‘Hyena Mode’

Snake-Oil salesmen John McCain and Sarah Palin are in “Hyena Mode” — desperate and discombobulated, the McCain-Palin team are chewing at anything in their path, including each other.

The empty headed DIVA — Sarah Palin, is squabbling with her handlers, and every “Cockroach” in the McCain camp is scampering to save “dear hide,” in the face of imminent defeat, as THE ONE — Barack Obama takes the fight to them in Republican red-state turf.

The Huffington Post reports: Even two Republicans once on McCain’s short list for vice president sound skeptical. In a fundraising e-mail on behalf of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Mitt Romney referred to “the very real possibility of an Obama presidency.” In the Midwest, Gov. Tim Pawlenty gave a dour assessment of McCain’s chances in his state, saying Barack Obama “has a pretty good advantage in Minnesota right now.

Even tax cheat “Joe The Plumber” a.k.a “Joe Wurzelbacher The IDIOT,” now a McCain surrogate, has inserted himself into the pathetic scare mongering mix — boldly insinuating that an Obama presidency would mean the “death of Israel” and the “end of democracy in America.

Joe oozes GODLY stupidity like the Republican he is, alright.

Meanwhile a Republican attempt at electronic vote theft was caught on tape in Virginia:

…and some of McCain’s robo-calls have degenerated into “Phone-Sex.”

The negative and racist McCain campaign has driven almost ALL African American voters to Obama. In most polls, McCain is losing these black voters by margins like 97% to 1%.

You can bet the Latino vote is not far behind. John McCain the former champion of Comprehensive Immigration Reform recently did a one hundred and eighty degree turn, and is now in bed with the extremist “Tom Tancredo-Lou Dobbs Wing” of the Republican Party — Vicious xenophobic Mongrels, who I am sure, with sufficient provocation would KILL EVERY IMMIGRANT ON SIGHT.

Bob Herbert sums it up eloquently: “The heyday of Lee Atwater and Karl Rove is over. Yet Senator John McCain handed the reins of his campaign to Mr. Rove’s worshipful acolytes.” “The classic fear card that the Republicans have played to such brilliant effect for years — will not work anymore!” — [MORE]

Olbermann on Palin: Socialist, fraud

In a Special Campaign Comment last night, Keith Olbermann cited yet another example of the McCain campaign accusing Barack Obama of something of which they themselves are guilty. In this case, Sarah Palin is accusing Barack Obama of advocating socialism when she literally used that word to describe the collective wealth sharing in her home state of Alaska.

NOTES: Like, Socialism — Sometimes, when a political campaign has run out of ideas and senses that the prize is slipping through its fingers, it rolls up a sleeve and plunges an arm, shoulder deep, right down to the bottom of the barrel. The problem for John McCain, Sarah Palin, and the Republican Party is that the bottom was scraped clean long before it dropped out….by Hendrik Hertzberg | READ FULL ARTICLE |

Guilt By Association?

The McCain campaign has devoted considerable attention and resources to making the point that Barack Obama’s associations are a reflection on his judgment and character. With that in mind, Keith Olbermann takes a look at the staggering volume of questionable associations by the McCain/Palin ticket from disgraced lobbyists to Alaskan secessionists.

Watch The New Obama Ad - On McCain’s ‘Low-Road Campaign’

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , ,

From: David PlouffeObama Campaign Manager

When the McCain campaign rolled out their petty “celebrity” attacks against Barack Obama, there’s one thing they didn’t consider — John McCain spent decades establishing himself as Washington’s biggest celebrity.

Once a media darling for his self-proclaimed “maverick” approach to politics, McCain has completely transformed himself to please special interests and the far right wing of his party. Now he’s the biggest and most vocal champion of George W. Bush’s disastrous policies.

We’ve created a new ad showing how he’s embraced the broken Washington system to stay in the limelight. And now we need members of the Obama Action Wire to step up and help make sure people see the ad pushing back on McCain’s low road attacks.

John McCain said he’s proud of his ads comparing Barack Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. He wants you to think you’re just caught up by a “celebrity” and don’t really want change in this country.

The McCain campaign has embraced the hollow, Karl Rove-style attacks we’ve seen Republicans use again and again when they can’t run on their record.

As soon as he became the presumptive Republican nominee, McCain reversed his calls for a dignified campaign and steered the “Straight Talk Express” straight for the low road.

Our campaign will stay focused on the serious issues and work to bring the change we need to Washington.

Watch the ad and make a donation to help get it on the air to respond to McCain’s negative campaign.

It’s Plausible

 Columnist - John Sammon
Columnist - John Sammon. Click to view larger picture.“That isn’t the Scott McClellan I knew. Is that the Scott McClellan you knew?”

“No! The Scott McClellan I knew could tell a lie we told him and then keep a lie a lie.”

“What are we gonna do?”

George Bush is holding a meeting with his inner circle, Vice President Dick Cheney, right wing philosopher-idealog Karl Rove, Rove’s buddy Scooter, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, a few sycophants, and former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld is there because he hopes to get his old job back.

“Is there any way we can….you know…..screw him (McClellan)?” Bush asks.

“Didn’t Nixon ask the same things about Dick Cavett (talk show host)?” Scooter asks.

“I don’t know. Ask Dick (Cheney). You were there weren’t you? Watergate?”

“I don’t remember,” Cheney says.

“Can we screw him (McClellan)?”

“We’re trying. It’s not easy,” Rove says.

“Maybe we can get him to go hunting with Dick (Cheney),” Scooter teases.

“Fu.’k you,” Cheney says. “I kept you out of jail. You just remember that.”

“But if we can make it implausible, then it’s implacably deniable, isn’t it?” Bush asks.

Rice interjects. “It has to be taken in the context of……”

“Shut up Farina!” Bush tells Rice (Farina, the black kid in the 1930s Little Rascals comedies, is Bush’s pet name for Rice). “When I want your opinion I’ll give it to ya.’ Go get me some coffee.”

Rice hurries off.

“Hey, remember when you slapped that German president (Chancellor Angela Merkel) on the back and told her, ‘yo, hey babe?’”

“Don’t change the subject,” Bush tells Scooter. “Remember, we got you out of jail.”

“Maybe we could try the (Rudolph) Hess thing,” Cheney says.

“What’s that?”

“Remember when Hess flew to England and embarrassed Hitler? Hitler said Hess was crazy.”

“No, it’s been done. We need something new.”

“But McClellan flipped out. Why?”

“Maybe I didn’t give him enough vacation time on my ranch,” Bush says. “It doesn’t matter. I’m gonna fu.’k him. We can control the truth here. We did it in Iraq.”

“He (McClellan) said the war was unnecessary,” Cheney adds.

“I know he did,” Bush snorts. “It became necessary when I said it was necessary.”

“But what about deniability?” Rove asks.

“You can’t deny that,” Bush says.

“Oh yes you can,” Rumsfeld interrupts.

“Who asked you?” Bush snarls. “You’re out of work. If you hadn’t fu’ked everything up, we wouldn’t be in this mess. I want the ability to plausibly deny the undeniable.”

“He’s (McClellan’s) become a left wing blogger,” Rove says.

“That’s it!” Bush says.

“Yeah!” Rove agrees. “We paint him as a traitor, as disloyal, as a bad American.”

“Yeah! Anybody who’s not with us is against us,” Bush chortles. “We did it to Kerry (former presidential candidate), the no-good sonofabitch!”

“A left wing blogger.”

“Just keep using that title over and over, like when we said weapons of mass destruction over and over in Iraq,” Bush instructs. “The public will eventually buy into it. But don’t call (Ted) Kennedy left wing. He’s sick and some of the bastards like him. If you do, I’ll just deny it.”

“It’s plausible.”

“Yeah.”
