‘Reverend Pork Chop’ Jesse Lee Peterson: ‘Most black people today are racist’

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

On his radio show, Bill Cunningham asked Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, “If Obama was white as chalk, do you think that [Colin] Powell would be endorsing the Democrat? He didn’t endorse Gore, he didn’t endorse Kerry. I think color trumps everything in his mind.” Peterson responded: “That’s right, because if it was about what Barack Obama stood for, then he would have endorsed Gore and all those guys, but he did not. You know, it’s so sad, my friend, that most black people today are racist. Not all, not all — but most of them are racist.”

Jesse Lee Peterson is a prime example of “Black Poodles” running around the United States, from racist talk-show host to another, disparaging other people of color.

Fox News Channel, the “snake-pit” of American TV Racism, loves people like Jesse Lee Peterson, ever eager to slander non-whites, especially Blacks, as threats to Euro-American white “civilization.

And, they (Fox), the official mouthpiece of John “Kill Obama” McCain don’t even bother to veil their bigotry. If it’s not casting the Obamas as “un-American,” it’s calling them terrorists, or questioning their ties to “Extremist Friends,” or insinuating that Michelle Obama is a “Whore.

One of most vile of these troglodyte “Anchor Men,” Mr. Sean Hannity, a goon who suffers from Tertiary Syphilis, ignored Barack Obama’s written disavowals of a Mr. Frank Marshall Davis (see video below) and used one biased guest, author of an anti-Obama book, to stoke racial fears about Obama. Black ReTHUGliTOM, Fox News’ resident “Black Poodle“, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, is a major sufferer of the Negrophobia Syndrome affliction, a psycho neurotic obstacle to black autonomy and self-pride.

Peterson & Co Being Used To Disparage Blacks & Obama

The American Directory Of Certified: Uncle TomsWhy any black person would join a Racist piece of garbage like Bill Cunningham or Sean Hannity to denigrate other blacks defeats me.

Reverend Pork Chop,” Jesse Lee Peterson and Michael Steele, the chairman of GOPAC and a former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, are “5 Star” Uncle Toms at Fox news, and if they are not, should be listed in the American Directory of Certified Uncle Toms — and charged with undermining black freedom struggles by ingratiating themselves with white racist overseers like Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly and co.

Media Matters Reports:

On the October 20 edition of Clear Channel’s The Big Show with Bill Cunningham, guest Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson said of former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama: “He’s clearly for the color of the man and not the character.” Cunningham replied, “Great comments, and if Obama was white as chalk, do you think that Powell would be endorsing the Democrat? He didn’t endorse Al Gore, he didn’t endorse Sen. John Kerry. I think color trumps everything in his mind.” Peterson responded: “That’s right, because if it was about what Barack Obama stood for, then he would have endorsed Gore and all those guys, but he did not. You know, it’s so sad, my friend, that most black people today are racist. Not all, not all — but most of them are racist.

Rev. Jesse Lee PetersonLater in the discussion, Peterson said: “Most black people are — have a socialist mentality. They depend on the government, they don’t get married, most of them don’t work hard, they look to the government to take care of them, and if we allow the socialist Barack Obama to get in, our country would become that way, and we will be in real trouble.”

In previous media appearances, Peterson has called the NAACP “a hate group,” claimed the organization is “a tool of the liberal elite socialist wing of the Democratic Party,” and stated that “crime and out-of-wedlock birth, black folks having babies without being married, and stuff like that is out of control.” According to Peterson, “Not all … but most of them lack moral character. Look what they did to the Louisiana Superdome. In three days, they turned the Dome into a ghetto.

Additionally, Cunningham said to Peterson: “Another sad thing about this whole thing is that Planned Parenthood has thrown all of its resources behind Obama.” Cunningham went on to assert: “And there has been no institution in America that’s killed more black babies than Planned Parenthood. And Planned Parenthood endorses Obama, who, of course, claims to be black, although his mother’s white. And you have the circumstance where Planned Parenthood is in the business of killing black babies in the black community, and so many African-Americans can’t figure it out.”

Peterson: Plant Parenthood is RacistPeterson said of abortion: “It’s a — it’s a genocide upon the black community, and yet you have Barack Obama and Colin Powell who support abortion.” He added: “As a matter of fact, Barack Obama supports abortion at any point — whether it’s partial-birth abortion or if a baby should come out alive after the woman has a botched abortion — Barack Obama wants the baby to die on the table, do not give the baby medical care, but let it die.”

Peterson’s claim was based on Obama’s opposition to a bill amending the Illinois Abortion Law of 1975, which, as Media Matters for America has repeatedly noted, Obama and other opponents said posed a threat to abortion rights and was, they said, unnecessary because Illinois law already prohibited the conduct being addressed by the bill. Indeed, as Media Matters noted, when tasked by the Illinois attorney general’s office with investigating allegations that fetuses born alive at an Illinois hospital were abandoned without treatment, the Illinois Department of Public Health reportedly said it was unable to substantiate the allegations but said that if the allegations had proved true, the conduct alleged would have been a violation of existing Illinois law.

Obama on Hit List

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

 Columnist - John Sammon
Columnist - John Sammon. Click to view larger picture.Barack Obama unfortunately has got assassination attempt written all over him. I wish I didn’t have to say this, but my clairvoyant sensors are ringing. Before you laugh, I wrote on my blog Sammonsays that “people would drown en mass” five days before Hurricane Katrina struck (titled Doomsday Five). Katrina was also a Category Five storm.

I also accurately predicted the outcome of the Iraq War six years ago, and the death of the TV Crocodile Hunter before they happened.

I could go on.

Obama has got several things about him to make me issue this warning (a new version of the Ides of March).

First, he’s personable and young. A prime target. Anyone promising change or a new direction runs more risk because they represent a threat to the old established business-as-usual moneyed interests. It also goes without saying that as the first African American president, Obama will become a target to every racist nut case.

America is a violent country. A country of haters. The most violent in the world.

Also, Democrats by their very nature consider themselves to be “populists.” That means they seem to like the so-called “common people,” and actually make physical attempts to go out among them and shake hands, which leaves them more vulnerable to assassination.

Republicans on the other hand tend to be more secretive. They believe in secret government. As a rule, they don’t like wading through crowds, “average” people for whom they often have disdain. Usually, the only time you see George Bush is when he waves walking across the lawn from his helicopter.

But it’s Obama’s perceived challenge to the fat cats that has me really worried, and my clairvoyant harp strings chiming.

The oil companies are strangling the American people, raising gas prices. They always explain that their to-infinity profits are simply a result of rewarding stock holders. But they’re killing the golden goose. Without knowing it.

Rising prices will cause Americans to seek other means of travel and boycott gasoline, which in turn will lessen global warming. Rising fuel prices will also cause other, new entrepreneurs to fill the gap by creating hybrid, electric and more fuel efficient cars.

Here’s a historical example. What happened in Prohibition when Americans were confronted with a situation (law) that to them was unacceptable? They found ways around it. They made their own booze.

Can’t you see the irony? In their greed and stupidity, oil company executives are (unwittingly) killing their own industry and helping the environment.

But back to Obama. Obama will try to rein in big oil. He may also attempt universal health care. This will put him on the hit list of moneyed interests.

For if the truth be known, in some ways, the oil company moguls and those in the insurance and health industry games are not that different from the Mafia and organized crime. They have lucrative windfalls they will fanatically protect. Billions are at stake.

Any political leader who attempts real change to the industrial, military, multi mega world conglomerate that America represents…will be viewed as a grave threat.

I’ll warn you all that Obama is a prime candidate for assassination. And it makes me sick to think about it.

I believe Obama will be the victim of an assassination attempt if he’s elected. That’s sad, because he may be the last, best hope we have to retain any semblance of our own humanity.

McCain’s Outrageous PHOTO-OP in New Orleans

Tags: , , , , , ,

From MoveOn.org

Right-wing pastor John Hagee says Katrina was New Orleans’ fault. John McCain sought out, and embraces, Hagee’s support. MoveOn members are trying to deliver a petition to McCain in New Orleans just a few hours from now: will you sign?

Here’s the background: McCain wants America to see him as a compassionate, mainstream politician. So he’s going to New Orleans today for a photo-op in the 9th Ward.

But he’s still trying to shore up his right-wing base—so this past Sunday, he again welcomed the support of right-wing evangelist John Hagee, who said “Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans.”

MoveOn members in New Orleans have organized an emergency rally outside McCain’s event today. With the media looking on, they’ll try to deliver our petition asking him to stop pandering to right-wing bigots like Hagee. They’ll announce an up-to-the-minute number of signatures, and we’ll have a real impact if we can say that hundreds of thousands have signed in only a few hours. Clicking here will add your name.

The petition reads: “John Hagee continues to blame the people of New Orleans for the catastrophe of Katrina. Senator McCain: If you reject intolerance and bigotry, reject Hagee’s political support and stop courting hate-mongers like him.”

This is not a gaffe or a “gotcha.” Hagee has a history of bigoted comments and he stood by his New Orleans remarks just days ago. And McCain’s strategy is intentional—he’s been working hard to court far-right leaders like Jerry Falwell and John Hagee, despite their hateful views. Even when he was pressed about Hagee’s hateful views, McCain said he was “glad to have his endorsement.”

Hagee’s words matter. Katrina was a terrible reminder of the consequences of bigotry and exclusion. People without resources, without political power, literally sank beneath the waves while our government did nothing.

John McCain is relying for political support on a man who preaches bigotry and exclusion, who spreads the kind of hate that allowed Katrina to become a man-made tragedy. While the media is focused on his New Orleans visit, we need to call him on it.

The more folks who sign the petition in the next few hours, the greater our impact. Clicking here will add your name right now.

We need to let Senator McCain know that he can’t use New Orleans for a photo-op while still courting the political support of hate-mongers like Hagee. New Orleans deserves better and America does, too.

Thank you very much for all you do.

RELATED STORY:

John McCain was rightly booed in Memphis a few weeks ago.

…because in 1983, he voted against the creation of a holiday honoring Dr. King, a vote which was not supported by most Republicans.

McCain’s excuse: “I was unaware on the importance of King’s work at the time, due to my Vietnam-era service.”

HogWash!

Speaking to reporters, he explained that his conversion occurred around 1990.

No amount of spin can swing my vote in the GOP direction, for their record speaks for itself. Everything the Republican party stands for is divisive, bigoted and in numerous instances outright racist.

Take for example the Immigration issue — instead of working towards a just and comprehensive solution, the Republican party — especially the right-wing block, has chosen to use the issue as “demonizing vehicle,” with which to transport hate and xenophobia all over the country.

In the late sixties to early seventies, there was Nixon The Creepy Crook, and then came Ronald Reagan in the eighties, to the current Bush. Republican presidents have been bunch of heartless, immoral, and evil individuals when it comes to the issue of civil rights and the treatment of African-Americans and other minorities.

In 1984, on the steps of the Capitol in Washington, Bishop Tutu of South Africa denounced Ronald Reagan’s speech in support of Apartheid:

Tutu said of Reagan’s speech: “It was reminiscent of Hitler’s Aryan madness.” … declaring that “constructive engagement is an abomination, an unmitigated disaster.” “Apartheid itself “is evil, is immoral, is un-Christian . . .”

“I found it quite nauseating. I think the West, for my part, can go to hell . . . Your president is the pits as far as blacks are concerned. He sits there like the great, big white chief of old.” said Desmond Tutu.

That is exactly the same attitude the current crop of Republicans has towards blacks and minorities.

McCain may be exempted on the issue of immigration, for he was in the forefront fighting for comprehensive reform — but he seems to have made a 180 degree turn, ostensibly to get votes from the right-wing block of poisonous Black Mamba’s and miscellaneous reptiles.

As testimony to the entrenchment of racism in the Republican party, take for instance — Last year, the NAACP invited all 9 Republican presidential candidates to a discussion forum, and only one showed up: Tom Tancredo, the most vicious anti-immigrant trogdolyte - with nothing to lose.

All the Democratic Presidential candidates showed up for the discussions.

I am tempted to give McCain a pass here — but I won’t, for “A slumber-friend of my enemy (The ReTHUGlicans) is my enemy,” …and “birds of a feather flock together.”

Even Worse — his recent gaffes prove to me once more that the “Grand Old Party” is getting ready to elect yet another IDIOT, like the one in the video below:

George Bush Loves Black People!

Tags: , , ,

Katrina was the third most intense hurricane to hit the United States in recorded history.

Rapper Kanye West on ‘Katrina’: I hate the way they portray us in the media.

You see a black family, it says, “They’re looting.” You see a white family, it says, “They’re looking for food.” And, you know, it’s been five days [waiting for federal help] because most of the people are black. And even for me to complain about it, I would be a hypocrite because I’ve tried to turn away from the TV because it’s too hard to watch.

I’ve even been shopping before even giving a donation, so now I’m calling my business manager right now to see what is the biggest amount I can give, and just to imagine if I was down there, and those are my people down there.

So anybody out there that wants to do anything that we can help — with the way America is set up to help the poor, the black people, the less well-off, as slow as possible. I mean, the Red Cross is doing everything they can.

We already realize a lot of people that could help are at war right now, fighting another way — and they’ve given them permission to go down and shoot us!

….adding: George Bush doesn’t care about black people!
