Sen. John McCain, a long-term supporter of humane, comprehensive immigration reform, has run a commercial feeding fears of “drug and human smuggling, home invasions, murder” by illegal immigrants.

Speaking from the other side of his mouth, …or is it through another orifice, sore-loser McCain last week claimed that president Obama has been “falsifying” immigration. Appearing with Fox’s Syphilitic LIAR Sean Hannity, McCain said a comment Obama recently made was “simply false” and partially responsible for pushing a negative narrative about the state.
Here is what Obama said during a town hall event in Iowa: “If you are an Hispanic American in Arizona, your great-grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state but now suddenly if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, your going to be harassed, that’s something that could potentially happen, that’s not the right way to go.”

Purporting to correct misconceptions, LIAR/POLLSTER Frank Luntz misrepresents AZ immigration law
MediaMatters: On Fox & Friends, Frank Luntz falsely suggested that under Arizona’s new immigration law, police can only ask about the immigration status of someone “if they believe that they’re in the process of committing a crime.” In fact, the law directs police to check the immigration status of those stopped for non-crimes including violations of city and county ordinances and civil traffic violations if the officer suspects those individuals are undocumented.
