On Newt Gingrich: The thrice-married Gingrich was a cheerleader for the impeachment of President Clinton — because the “moralistic” Republicans were outraged over Clinton’s dalliances with Monica Lewinsky. At the same time, Gingrich was having an affair with a House staffer.
Gingrich once said that speaker Pelosi represented ‘an attitude of weakness, appeasement, and surrender‘ to the country’s foreign policy. It figures that he would continue the failed policies of the Bush administration and use the politics of fear against the opposition.
FYI: Ms. Nancy Pelosi has had one husband since 1962, and has not been touched by any scandal.
