Yesterday this PUNK Cantor released this profanity-laced AD — attacking the labor unions — AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) and Americans United for Change, who have been running an ADs targeting Cantor for encouraging Republican opposition to the Obama Stimulus Package.
“On your way to work tomorrow, instead of sitting around with your finger up your ass, look around,” the voiceover says. “There’s a union out there called AFSCME and they’re busting their balls doing a lot of shit work you take for granted. For example, we pick up your fucking garbage.”
“We don’t take shit from nobody,” the voiceover finishes. “You got that, asshole? AFSCME — the fucking union that works for you.”
This fella Eric Cantor is a Pink PRICK of a person!

Barack Obama has certainly handled himself much better than some of the clowns carrying leadership banners for the G.O.P. Michael Steele, the new Republican Party chairman, could barely contain his glee over the fact that no Republicans voted for the stimulus package in the House. “The goose egg that you laid on the president’s desk was just beautiful,” he said.
“This bill stinks,” said Lindsey Graham of South Carolina during the Senate debate on the package.
I’m not joking. “Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban,” said Representative Pete Sessions of Texas, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
The president was even accused – oh, my goodness – of working in the Oval Office without his suit jacket on.

The simple truth is that most Republican politicians would like Mr. Obama to fail because that is their ticket to a quick return to power. I think the president is a more formidable opponent than they realize.
Mr. Obama is like a championship chess player, always several moves ahead of friend and foe alike. He’s smart, deft, elegant and subtle. From minnesotaindependent.com — Former Sen. Norm Coleman’s Web site is down, and the campaign says a flood of info-seeking disenfranchised voters overwhelmed it. A press release posted at the GOP blog Minnesota Democrats Exposed reports that the site was “inundated by tens of thousands of hits today – temporarily crashing the website.” MDE’s Ryan Flynn then quotes Coleman campaign manager Cullen Sheehan:
“Minnesotans and folks across the country are fed up with Al Franken’s efforts to disenfranchise thousands of Minnesota voters, and the overwhelming response we received to making this information public is proof positive of that fact,” he says.
But not so fast, says Aaron Landry, an MN Publius blogger (and Franken fan) who works as IT Manager at a St. Paul design firm by day. He commented at MDE that there’s “no way that the amount of traffic they got was the cause of the website being down.”

President Obama’s “I won” remark indicates that there’s a limit to both his benevolence and his tolerance for Republican silly season hackery. “I won” means that he won’t be played and he won’t be taken advantage of. But the Republicans have miscalculated and misinterpreted the president, believing that “bipartisanship” means Democratic capitulation. Save for a few concessions in an otherwise massive spending bill, President Obama isn’t calling for any half-and-half bipartisan compromise on this or anything else so far. His process with the Republicans is all about attaining some civility in the tone of the debate — not caving. There’s a difference. And in that process, the president is looking increasingly presidential as his style is contrasted against the smallness of the Republicans.
