A faction of McCain’s campaign team has gone ROGUE on his running mate Sarah Palin. They are throwing her plus her CLOTHES under the bus — somewhat like a wife throwing out a rouge husband. LOL!
Newsweek reported on Wednesday that some of the huge amounts of money spent by Palin, was used on clothing for Palin’s children and husband, Todd, who may have received between $20,000 and $40,000 in wardrobe purchases. The money also included thousands of dollars in shoes, jewelry, Gucci bags, Gucci Diapers and miscellaneous high-priced items, for the Palin Clan.
There are rumors flying around that the Republican party has dispatched a lawyer to Alaska to retrieve some of the high priced clothes the “Wasilla hillbilliesLooted from high-end clothing store Neiman Marcus.”

They are trying their utmost best to portray Obama as some “Manchurian Candidate” who will sneak into the White House and then nuke every city in America. To them, Obama is from the “politically soiled and filthy culture of Chicago,” unfit to be an American — maybe he is a member of the Chicago mob, a recipe for a tragedy!
The sickest of them all at Fox news is Sean Hannity — who has repeatedly mis-characterized Obama’s “air-raiding villages” statement, among many other distortions and outright lies.

Barack Obama’s remark that more coalition forces are needed in Afghanistan “so that we’re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there.” Hannity did not note that Defense Secretary Robert Gates recently offered Afghans “sincere condolences and personal regrets for the recent loss of innocent life as a result of coalition airstrikes” and that news outlets have repeatedly reported that U.S. airstrikes in Afghanistan have resulted in civilian casualties…. AP - John McCain tapped little-known Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate on Friday in a startling selection on the eve of the Republican National Convention.
Two senior campaign officials disclosed McCain’s decision a few hours before the Republican presidential nominee-to-be and his newly-minted running mate appeared at a rally in swing-state Ohio.
Palin, like McCain, is a conservative with a maverick streak who has shown a willingness to clash with others in her own party. A self-styled hockey mom and political reformer, she has been governor of her state less than two years.
She is a former mayor of Wasilla (population8,471) who became governor of her state in December, 2006 after ousting a governor of her own party in a primary and then dispatching a former governor in the general election.
More recently, she has come under the scrutiny of an investigation by the Republican-controlled legislature into the possibility that she ordered the dismissal of Alaska’s public safety commissioner because he would not fire her former brother-in-law as a state trooper.
Palin has a long history of run-ins with the Alaska GOP hierarchy, giving her genuine maverick status and reformer credentials that could complement McCain’s image.
Two years ago, she ousted the state’s Republican incumbent governor, Frank Murkowski in the primary, despite having little money and little establishment backing.
She had earned stripes — and enmity — after Murkowski made her head of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. From that post, she exposed ethical violations by the state GOP chairman, also a fellow commissioner.
She and her husband Todd Palin, have five children. The latest, a baby, was born with Down syndrome.
